RESTORATIVE YOGA AND MEDITATION

Wednesdays at 10.30am and 5.25pm

This is an accessible, light-hearted yoga class, suited to beginners and older students who want to move at a mindful pace while developing strength, balance and alignment in each pose. The first 60 minutes of this class explores physical postures as well as restorative poses. The later segment introduces you to the practice of meditation and yoga breathing to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing. This class, facilitated by Michele Sierra, is suitable for everyone – even those who never thought they could do yoga or learn to meditate!

Bringing focus & awareness to modern life

We spend a lot of time, energy and money on our physical health and appearance, but what of our mental and emotional health? Meditation improves emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing, and is simple and accessible.
'Meditation Practice' is designed by Michele. It is a 6-month course of weekly, emailed lessons that gives you techniques, guidance and support to establish a personal daily practice. The course is especially suited to those of us who have increasingly busy lives and find it hard to attend a group. It requires just 7 minutes of your time daily to practise - that's only seven out of the 1440 minutes of your day!
