JOIN RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH ANJ

Anjali is leading a 70mins Deep Restorative Yoga indulgence on Sunday afternoon. Create some time to slow down, deeply rest and restore your body and mind.

This class consists of 4 yoga postures and concludes with a guided relaxation. Each posture is completely supported and held by yoga props (bolsters, blankets and blocks), allowing your body to release muscle tension whilst supporting your bones and joints. Being still in these postures for a period of time (10-15mins) allows your body to soften, yield and let go.

We will use the breath to further guide you into a deeper state of rest and to help quieten the busy mind.This practice leaves you feeling deeply rested and grounded, bringing a sense of ease to your body, mind and breath.

Anjali will be offering a 1hr deep Restorative Yoga indulgence once a month on Sunday afternoons at 4.30. Being a busy working mum of 2, Anjali understands the importance of creating some time and space to be able rest and restore the body and mind. Each posture is held for an extended period with your body being completely supported by yoga props (such as blocks, bolsters and blankets). Restorative yoga can leave you feeling deeply relaxed and rested, whilst bringing back a sense of ease in your body, mind and breath. Most importantly, this class will give you a chance to slow down and take some time away from the stresses of everyday life.

Mindfulness Meditation Online-Retreat

Friday 7-9pm; Saturday 12.30-3pm: Sunday 8.30 - 3pm including lunch and frequent breaks

Price: $290

Designed for those keen to mature a personal practice grounded in a Buddhist approach to meditation or for those wishing to reinvigorate and maintain longevity in their existing meditation practice. The fundamental insights of mindfulness and meditation will be explored to shift perspectives and realise aspirations for our involvement with the broader world.

This weekend retreat will cover: • an expansive perspective on the key foundations of mindfulness and philosophy • the benefits of regular mindfulness practice • exploration of guided meditations and embodied mindfulness practices, including yogic breathing, awareness through movement and how to develop an accessible personal practice at home and at work. The retreat includes lectures, discussion, practise and individual feedback from Michele.

What happens if I miss part of the retreat? Sessions will be recorded if you are unable to attend one of the sessions.

This is a stand-alone weekend retreat open to everyone. No prior experience is required. This retreat is also Phase 1, and a prerequisite, for all those enrolled in the 6-month Meditation Teacher Training, Mindfulness & Contemplative Studies course. Learn more about the accredited training HERE

  • o There will be frequent options to turn off the video or sit back from the screen when meditating, practising or listening to talks.

    o Frequent breaks will be scheduled throughout the day. As a result, you will not be glued to the screen for consecutive uninterrupted lengthy periods.

Philosophy, Subtle Physiology and Yoga for Mental Health
50hours post-grad studies

Commences August 7, 1 - 4.45pm Monthly, weekend training.

you may participate in this training in the following ways:

50hrs (CPD) Post Grad studies. The Philosophy, Pranayama and workshop components of 150hrs-level 2 yoga teacher training can be undertaken as a separate module from the full 150hrs teacher training program. This individual component entitles eligible participants to gain 50 CPD hours accredited with Yoga Australia. Prerequisite 200hrs Yoga Teaching qualification or relevant qualification for Health Professionals.

Personal Interest without CPD: for the love of it! You may also undertake this study to deepen your personal practice and interest in applied yoga, subtle anatomy and Buddhist philosophy without accreditation or compulsory completion of assessments. Prerequisite: a minimum of 1-year of meditation and yoga practice is required.
